Questions

Is this actually educational, or just cute animal cards?

Both, on purpose. Every card carries the animal's real behavior, habitat, taxonomy, and IUCN conservation status — accurate enough to use in a classroom or homeschool lesson, and written so a child genuinely wants to read it. The facts do the work; we make them beautiful and easy to love.

When will I be charged, and when do the cards arrive?

We save your card when you pre-order but don't charge it then. About a week before your first deck ships in October, we charge your first payment. After that, cards arrive monthly and you're billed on your plan — monthly or annually.

What is the app, exactly?

A companion to the cards, not a replacement. Point it at a card to see the animal in augmented reality, and unlock an adventure quest built around the animals in your deck. The cards come first; the app is there for a different sort of engagement and learning. It's included free with either founding subscription.

Can I cancel or pause?

Yes, anytime before your next charge. You're never locked in — founding pricing is a reward for joining early, not a contract.

What does a founding subscription get me?

The first deck, your founding price locked in for as long as you stay, the companion app free, and — for the first 25 annual subscribers — a say in which animals we feature next.

Who gets to nominate an animal?

The first 25 annual founding subscriptions. Each of those 25 gets to nominate an animal we'll feature in an upcoming deck. It's the perk for committing to the year up front, so it isn't part of the monthly plan.

What ages is this for?

Built for curious kids roughly K–8, and written so the science holds up for a grown-up reading along. Younger kids enjoy the animals and the app; older kids dig into the biology and conservation.
